Alumna wins National Young Journalist Award

We congratulate 2023 graduate Ayesha Nizam, who has been named National Young Journalist of the Year for her series on coastal waste mismanagement in the Western Province.

Ayesha credited the College's reporting workshops and her mentors for the habits that underpinned the investigation: verification, documentation and persistence.

Her series ran over four months and prompted two official inquiries.
